Alma's Piano Songs
Hello all young pianists who took part in my competition! It was so wonderful to listen to the videos you sent with your beautiful interpretations of pieces from my new album. It was magical to hear how you made my music sing! Choosing the winners was really tough. Your interpretations were jam-packed with passion and musicality. And the hard work really showed. So if you didn’t win this time, don't lose heart. I would love to continue hearing your interpretations of my music, so keep uploading! You are all wonderful!

Dear Young Pianists,
I thought you might like to play some pieces by a composer who’s not a dead old man with a long grey beard who lived centuries ago, but a girl around your age who is alive right now. So I prepared this album of my own compositions especially for you. I have been composing since I was four years old. This album starts with the very first melody that came into my head, when I was four. And the most recent piece in it is a Tango that I composed last year, when I was sixteen. I hope you will like my tunes and have fun playing them! And who knows, maybe my pieces will inspire you to compose your own songs!

Ich dachte, ihr würdet vielleicht gerne einige Stücke spielen, die nicht ein Mann komponiert hat, der vor Jahrhunderten gelebt und einen langen grauen Bart gehabt hat, sondern ein Mädchen in eurem Alter, das gerade jetzt lebt. Deshalb habe ich dieses Album mit meinen eigenen Kompositionen speziell für euch zusammengestellt. Ich komponiere schon, seit ich vier Jahre alt bin. Dieses Album beginnt mit der allerersten Melodie, die mir in den Kopf kam, als ich vier war. Das jüngste Stück auf dem Album ist ein Tango, den ich letztes Jahr komponiert habe, als ich sechzehn war. Ich hoffe, ihr mögt meine Stücke und habt Spaß daran, sie zu spielen! Und wer weiß, vielleicht inspirieren euch meine Stücke dazu, eure eigenen Lieder zu komponieren.
